Implement the UMH Integrated Platform Data Infrastructure Wherever You Need

Agile and Scalable for Edge, On-Premise, and Cloud

The Data Infrastructure of the UMH Integrated Platform is typically installed on Edge (in cases of Demilitarized Zones), On-Premise (for latency), and then also in the Cloud (to leverage cloud functionalities).

Kubernetes as Foundation

Kubernetes is used as the central container management platform on Edge, On-Premise and Cloud.

It ensures that the Data Infrastructure of the UMH Integrated Platform can run with High Availability and can handle large data throughput with clustering.

The Data Infrastructure is installed as a Helm Chart for Kubernetes, which allows to configure everything in a single YAML file.

For cloud deployment, managed Kubernetes services are recommended.Edge devices and virtual machines are supported by a Flatcar (a Linux-based immutable Operating System) and k3s-based Kubernetes foundation, which can be deployed via the UMH Integrated Platform Management Console swiftly, suitable for high-availability or multi-node setups.
